A Collaborative
Approach
About me, how I work, and the values that guide my practice.
Exploring Your Path
Therapy offers a space to explore your experiences with care and thoughtful attention. I offer individual therapy to adults in a confidential setting and my practice is inclusive of diversity. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work and provides the foundation for meaningful change.
About Me
I graduated in medicine in 1998. While working across a range of medical fields, both locally and overseas, I became increasingly interested in the role of empathic therapeutic relationships in recovery from illness and the connection between mind and body. My path into counselling and psychotherapy developed naturally from here and has continued through extensive training and clinical practice for more than 25 years.
My approach is integrative and draws on mindfulness-based, humanistic, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. A medical background supports a holistic understanding of health and provides a strong foundation for my work.
I remain committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, supporting the depth and integrity of the therapeutic relationship.

-
Relational connection is central to my work. Within this connection, self-compassion and deeper self-understanding can emerge.
